NFPA 70E/Arc Flash Electrical Safety

This lecture course is designed to provide training for OSHA electrical safety training requirements for employees bound by OSHA rule 1910:331-335.  Students will  learn how current NFPA 70E standards apply to various facilities, why safe electrical work practices are important and what can be done to ensure organizations meet all government standards for electrical safety.  Students will learn about approach boundaries, flash approach boundary and proper selection of personal protective equipment. After this course, students will be familiar with OSHA penalties for noncompliance.
