Industrial Electrical Technician Courses
Electrical Print Reading
In this lecture course, students will learn how to properly interpret electrical drawings by looking at various diagrams and schedules in a construction project and discussing what is seen. Students will also examine prints for errors, NEC® compliance and much more. All questions about interpreting electrical drawings will be answered. Furthermore, students will examine basic electrical concepts such as voltage drop, conductor fill, short-circuit analysis, KVA ratings, service calculations and more. In addition, electrical symbols used in Electrical Single Line Diagrams will be explained and used in basic circuits, using these circuits, the student will learn to read the diagram to test the circuit when faults occur.
