Industrial Electrical Technician Courses
2010 NFPA 70B/Recommended Practices for Electrical Equipment Maintenance
This lecture course provides an overview of the tools needed to construct a cost effective preventive maintenance program for electrical systems and equipment that are found in industrial, institutional and commercial buildings. Power surges, spikes, and poor preventive maintenance cause or allow damage to occur on a regular basis. These events wear down components and eventually cause premature failure. Electrical failures are inevitable without preventive maintenance. The more power a facility uses, the greater the risk of failure.
